But when 60% of any population is infected by any pathogen, it proves that it is quite virulent despite RDH's assertion.

No, basically what we are saying is the scare tactic you are trying to use is weak. Comparing the the situation now to nearly a hundred years ago is ignorant - and willfully so.

We had one person get sick in our dept (out of 50+ I'm in contact with on a typical day). It's *possible* I was the carrier but not very *probable* considering she has contact with a lot more people all around our complex due to her position.

I thought the first step was to go on the news, tell everyone they are going to die from some virus unleashed on us from the Mid-Easten barbarians and then let hysteria and mayhem rule the day.

Shhh... don't let the facts disrupt a fine example of fearmongering. Both my kids (5 & 10) had it (H1N1, not the immunization) about a month ago. They were miserable for a few days with typical flu symptoms but they survived without hospitalization (shocking, I know).
